Two-good! Caleb Serong wins second straight Doig Medal to join Fremantle greats

Fremantle midfielder Caleb Serong has joined three of the biggest names in the club’s history by winning his second consecutive Doig Medal and writing his name into club history.

Serong polled 240 votes to win the best-and-fairest by nine votes from Andrew Brayshaw. The medal follows Serong’s victory last season and only Nat Fyfe, Matthew Pavlich and Peter Bell have also won consecutive Doig Medals.
