A mother who was pushing her baby in a pram has been assaulted during a morning walk in City Beach.
Police are investigating the unprovoked attack that happened outside Odyssea cafe, on Challenger Parade, about 11.20am on Thursday.
It is understood an unknown woman ran up to the mother — who was pushing her baby in a pram — and assaulted her.
The mother suffered grazes to her hand and arm and her child was unharmed.
No one has been arrested or charged over the incident.
