A car crash has thrown Sydney’s M5 East Motorway into chaos, with all westbound lanes closed.
The chaos kicked off after a car crashed through an overpass and fell onto the busy road, sparking a large-scale emergency response.
The crash has closed the westbound lanes between Mascot and Beverly Hills and LiveTraffic NSW advises motorists to “use an alternative route”.
The closure was listed at 4.28pm.
